Seaside Nature Retreat in Island Beach ‘Wattle’

Stunning location and stylish and new, quality features…just a tad tight for 4 people. Positive: Appointed beautifully. Wonderful facilities. Negative: It really was too small for four people. No room to place bags - so we needed to place all our bags in car and keep going on to them to get our things (camping style.) The loft window shutter was broken and unable to be pulled down to keep heat out. Not meaning to complain, just offer reason why we wouldn’t return fyi.

Positive: Quirky, well appointed and in good location near beach. Good shower and bathroom. Negative: Reservation was as a 2 bedroom house - it's obviously not. The pull out bed was cumbersome. All storage for bags was taken up by bedding (which desperately needs updating). The headroom over the mezzanine bed is especially low - you need to be athletic to use! Basically clean but we had to clean window over sofa bed as it had dead insects and large cobwebs.. Other negative was dead animal bones next to decking. Thus is OK for young couple, possibly with young children but not 4 adults.

Beautiful and excellent! Positive: We loved every single bit of the cabin. I m surprised why it is not listed in SA tourism. This could give a good competition to the CABN. It’s cost effective and the hosts are wonderful. My kids enjoyed the most and my dog too. Negative: The projector did not work properly

Quiet cabin close to the beach Positive: Peaceful location in the middle of nature. The availability of cookware made preparing dinner an easy task. Negative: During nighttime when it's cold the warm air didn't reach the sofa bed.
